Crater Lodge Graphic3

Formed by an ancient volcano, the Ngorongoro Crater is one of seven UNESCO World Heritage sites in Tanzania. The altitude of the crater’s edge creates a unique tropical climate along the ridges which form a high-altitude “Eden”. The “lost world” beneath, which is home to lions, rhinos, hippos, servals, flamingos and many more, was first discovered by explorers in 1892. With the lodges nestled back on the ridge of the crater, every day guests venture down into the crater to explore and the view the game.
